CORAS Announces End Support for CorasWorks v11.3-Era of Products

Announcing the end of support for CORAS' CorasWorks v11.3.x products

CORAS is committed to delivering exceptional software and services to our customers. It’s in our nature to innovate and try new things. As such, CORAS is announcing the end of development and support for CorasWorks v11.3.3 as of Friday, January 31, 2020.

We thank our CorasWorks v11 users and want to help them make a smooth transition to our CorasWorks v11.4.x releases. Please reach out to the CORAS Support team at Support@Coras.com to discuss any concerns or potential issues.

Why is CORAS discontinuing support for CorasWorks v11.3.3?
At the time CORAS released CorasWorks v11.3.3 in September 2014, it represented the best third-party technology for Microsoft SharePoint. It is in our nature to innovate and improve, so CORAS released CorasWorks v11.4 with updated Display Wizards and improved compatibility with modern browsers and later releases of SharePoint.

As a result of updating CorasWorks v11 to the v11.4 production level, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain and to make changes within the older v11.3.3 platform. Due to the difficulties in maintaining and supporting CorasWorks v11.3, and the potential for issues running in Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft SharePoint 2019, we have made the decision to discontinue support.

When will the End of Life take effect?
On Friday, January 31, 2020. After that time, support will no longer be provided for CorasWorks v11 releases prior to CorasWorks v11.4

Do you recommend another version for me to use?
CORAS recommends upgrading to CorasWorks v11.4.3 or later. This release features backward compatibility with components, Actions, and pages built using CorasWorks v11.3.
